Focusing primarily on unique items by local artists, the Museum Store features merchandise by weavers, quilters, and even fashion designers. All proceeds from the Museum Store go directly to support the Museum and its exhibitions, so please spend generously. There are currently over 20 new and exciting artists with items available in the Museum Store, so remember to stop in for a quick peak. The Museum Store is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm (extended hours are held the first Friday of every month from 8pm to 11pm).
Planning your visit
The San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles is located at 520 South First Street in San Jose. It is open Tuesday through Sunday. Admission to the museum is just $6.50 for Super Cheap San Jose Car Rental travelers, while children 12 and under are admitted free of charge. Students (with ID) and seniors are admitted save $0.50 on admission prices. Docent led tours of the museum are offered for groups of 10 or more people.
