The Los Lupenos De San Jose is one of California’s most acclaimed schools of traditional Mexican dance. Since relocating to the Mexican Heritage Plaza, Los Lupenos has hosted a number of festivals, competitions and events. The repertoire currently taught at Los Lupenos includes regional dances of Jalisco, Chiapas, Puebla, Veracruz and Chihuahua. Other regions that are represented include the Yucatan, Sinaloa, Tabasco and Zacatecas.
